How does Authentified work?
Authentified partners with leading fashion brands and marketplaces to take the hassle out of buying and selling second-hand clothes. With a seamless connection to retailers’ product data, Authentified generates accurate, high-quality listings in an instant. Their team of Consignment Experts then manage the listing on your behalf to sell it for the best possible price.

Is Authentified a marketplace?
Authentified is not a marketplace. Rather, it’s a consignment platform with a team of experts who manage the end-to-end resale of your pre-loved threads through trusted marketplaces like eBay.

Can I sell any clothes on Authentified?
You can only sell clothes purchased through Authentified’s participating brands.

How does Authentified’s expert price recommendation work?
When you list an item with Authentifed, you can set your own price, or leave it to our team of experts. They’ll review your item and its current condition, along with a range of product data including the sale price of similar items and buyer demand. Based on this information, they’ll then suggest a recommended price and maximum discount for your approval.

How do I receive money for items I sell?
When you list an item on Authentified you’ll be asked to nominate your preferred bank account for payment. When the item sells, you’ll be asked to send the item to its new owner. As soon as your item is scanned into the Australia Post system, payment will be deposited into your account.

Does Authentified take a commission?
Yes. Authentified takes a flat 12.5% commission from the total value of each sale.

What if my item doesn’t sell?
Authentified aims to sell every item listed within 30 days. If your item is yet to sell after that time frame, one of their consignment experts will be in touch. You can choose to relist the item at a lower price to increase interest or cancel the listing.

Is there an Authentified app?
Authentified has only recently launched, so at this time there is no app. But we’re moving fast so watch this space.

What images can I use?
To keep it simple, the original product image will be automatically pulled when you select your item. You can also upload additional images if you'd like. Don't forget to capture any wear and tear.

Is Authentified available only in Australia?
Yes, Authentified is currently available to DECJUBA Insiders based in Australia.
